I am in PA, and my husband of a little less than 2 years told me on April 9 that he was moving out, and did so a week later. I agreed with his decision,and now he wants to come back, but I do not want him back. He owns his own home, but we lived in a home that I purchased one month prior to our wedding date, in my name only, with my money, since he has his own home, and didn't want another asset for the IRS or the mother of his child to know about.
When we moved into the house, he did some minor inside work and installed a roof. Since he is a contractor and writes off his materials, this had minimal cost. He now is threatening to take me to court to force me to sell the house and pay him half the equity, since after 2 years, the area demands higher sale prices.
I have a 14 year old daughter, and don't want to move...I just want a home.
